Whenever a New Moon is in playful, adoration-loving Leo, there promises to be a happy occasion on someone’s menu.
Lots of movie viewings and rentals will be perpetrated the weekend of August 22, I suspect, for Leo is the sign of The Showman.
MGM’s old insignia, the roaring Lion, tells of the film industry’s long-held love of dramatic Leo.
And one can hardly skip the ‘Images for Integration’ for this Fire-Fire blend for they are quite intriguing…
‘A child in an Edenic paradise builds a beautiful sandcastle in the sunshine with all the creations of nature in joyous attendance…In full pageantry, the new king is crowned before his kingdom.’ (‘Sun Sign-Moon Sign’ by Chas & Suzi Harvey.)
Hmm…do you think August 20’s Leo New Moon (a new cycle of activity) may bring a coronation onto the global platter of entertainment? Or perhaps another sort of showy ceremony.
And Leo does so love entertainment, adoration, approval, and praise. But let us remember another archetypal tale associated with the royal sign of Leo the Lion – the Prodigal Son/Daughter.
Is there are any prodigals who should return home, the days after August 20’s New Moon are great times to do so for you’ll be following a natural and universal rhythm! It’s the pride of the Lion which must be tamed and a clearer view of reality entertained as one’s blessings are once again fully appreciated and forgiveness is asked and received.
Now, if you don’t mind a more political view of this powerful New Moon with its horoscope set for Washington, DC, try Stars Over Washington where I’ve recently posted the August 20 New Moon chart with brief details.
Discussion of this Leo lunation is encouraged, especially since at ’28Leo’ the New Moon is in an ‘astrological degree’ and conjuncts one of the Royal Stars of Persia, Regulus, ‘in the tip of the Leo’s tail’ as Bernadette Brady said to me in the Fixed Star Report she recorded concerning my day of birth!
The one thing to avoid with Regulus on the road to gaining the success a Royal Star portends?
Revenge. ‘Success if revenge is avoided.’
Oh dear. We all seem to fail that test quite regularly, don’t we?
Being wealthy is no license to cheat. And in many cases, the cheating has already occurred: you got rich and richer, benumbed conscience under wraps.
Now as many as 5,000 Swiss bank accounts may be opened to the gaze of the IRS while US tax evaders squirm at the uncovering of their deceit…and pay up.
Or at least, that’s the line being promoted. But knowing how plutocrats rule the world one wonders whether the proposed ‘5,000’ account holders being outed are the top culprits, or merely the lower or middle ‘savers’ tossed to the jackals (IRS) to save the really big fish (ya know who ya are. And you’re not reading this.)
It always seems to me that the more money you possess, the more protection you have (and need) in the world so we’ll see if the unmaskings – and the pay-ups – amount to anything much at day’s end, and whether these back-tax monies paid to the US Treasury Dept by way of an arm-twisting exercise will ultimately be used to – disappointingly – continue America’s warring stance.
