It’s Snow Across America!
If you haven’t yet viewed NASA’s satellite photos of a snowed-in America click to marvel!
Apparently here in Georgia we may be getting a few more snowflakes mixed with the rain we’re experiencing today but so far, no flake has fallen to my knowledge. But there is this…

‘Calysta Calypso’ says Hi, Everyone – Happy Friday to ya!
Drawing by Jude COwell 2010+ imported from my Cosmic Persona Designs collection of Boudoir Blossoms and Chiffonery Art.
Must be 17 years of age to view; Adult Warning to click through, some Erotic Art included…but No photos, only Art images.
Yes, it’s true, a popular search term for this blog continues to be ‘erotic art’ and you’ll find some here plus at Sepia Art Theater, if you wish.
Yet more and more I personally refer to my racier drawings as ‘Cosmo-Erotic Art’ since that seems to describe them better, imo.
The latest such drawings perpetrated may always be found in my Cosmic Persona Designs collection of Chiffonery Art and Boudoir Blossoms images, so if you’re in the 17+ age range you may click through the Adult Content Warning and browse at your leisure. A Labels List is provided to orient you so you won’t get lost.
And yet I feel that ‘adult content’ is rather strong for what I do – mildly ‘racy’ or ‘saucy’ would be closer to characterizing the fanciful figure studies with cosmic flavor which I call, Cosmo-Erotic Art.
Plus, you may wish to check out the Pages column here to your left under “Chiffonery Art” if you haven’t as yet. You’ll find a few ladies’ portraits waiting for you there…
Why, it has yet to have its Moon, stars, and comet/s nestled in the black sky. Would you complete it if you were me?
The image is a version of one style of my children’s illustrations but here you see how ‘dark’ they can be when in progress…don’t spill off now!
‘Path to an Unknown Land’ v1, on paper by Jude Cowell 2009+; Prismacolor oil and Rexel Derwent watercolour pencils (dry.)
Heads-Up! Mega fun is being had as I freshen up Jude’s Zazzle Art Shop with new Dreamyfish Art and other goodies, and sprucing up my Jude Cowell Art Shop at Cafe Press.
Jude’s Holiday Art Specials will be published soon at both Zazzle and Cafe Press with personalized, original Art desk items (mousepads, calendars, wall art posters) and apparel (T-Shirts, shoes, tote bags, neckties, babies’ clothes) totally in mind for your favorite folk!
And if you need a more impersonal gift, how about a tropical fish-festooned Ceramic Travel Mug? Because water is basic to all life and we must stop monkeying around and…
Save Our Oceans!
Your cordial invitation to view new Art has arrived:
So have you been to Maisy’s Lair?
I ask because she likes to share
awaiting you with bloom in vase
a warmly smile upon her face
for Boudoir Blossoms are her style
do visit Maisy for a while
and leave behind your heavy care
relax and dream in Maisy’s Lair!
(Cosmic Persona Designs contains some mild adult content, but it’s only Art!)
You’re also cordially invited to browse my new Zazzle Shop of Art with Wall Posters, mousepads, and such at Jude Cowell Art if you wish.
You’ll find some Dreamyfish Art botanical fish portraits there with Cosmic, Moon, and Fairy Art images coming soon. Why, perhaps a Boudoir Blossom or two will make a cameo appearance when their schedules permit!
‘Borrowed Glove Dispute’ – a fanciful Chiffonery Art drawing by Jude Cowell 2009+.
The Day of Venus is here once again, so Happy Friday, Everyone!
Update: one of my art blogs, Secret Moon Art, has now been updated to the newer, fresher Blogger layout, so please drop by when you get a moment and check out what’s been done with the place!
And if you’re an artist, I’d love to trade links with you especially since updating to the new layout loses all your former linky friends! Jude
Rather an oddish piece. A bit of a ‘Boudoir Blossom’ lady, a dancer type, but different.
It’s a copy of a drawing from the Summer Olympics 1996, Atlanta, GA., ‘Moonbeam Lake’ photographed small and collaged into a newer figure study for my 17+er art gallery at:
Two drawings were accepted in a city exhibition, one of which was ‘Moonbeam Lake’ which was originally from a children’s book dummy I was putting together at the time, ‘Silvery Tree Path.’
So-named ‘shroom-homes figured into the tale as elfish abodes with fairies playing about unseen…hence my primary imprint 1995 to the present and beyond: Unscene World.
The lighted look in the drawing-as-painting that’s ‘hanging’ on the screen is achieved by embossing with an aluminum pencil – Prismacolor’s ‘Silver.’
And here’s a link to a partial view of the Great Lichen Forest where the Roscoe Woodhouse story ‘Silvery Tree Path’ plays out…
Update Saturday 2:53 pm est: a fresh image is uploaded of a new drawing, ‘ShroomHome on Silvery Tree Path’ which continues the elfin theme…
The drawing isn’t quite complete, but perhaps you may enjoy it all the same!
Plus, another note: the Adult Content Warning has been temporarily lifted for a day or so in order for crawling to take place…seems the Art Blog is about to be kicked off URLTrends due to inaccessibility.
Cosmic Persona Designs’ Content Warning for the 17+ers among us will be replaced very soon. The blog, is, however, only my Artwork – figure studies, designs really – no artsy photos on the premises, and none sought.
It’s Art for Art’s Sake with this apt hint: CPD displays only a little Chiffonery Art…frothy and fun.
Of course you do! Don’t we all? The one that got away…the one you still pine for just a wee bit perhaps?
So I got out my Prismacolor oil pencils and my Rexel Derwent watercolour pencils the other day and set about symbolizing lost love within a 9″x11″ rectangle of paper…and here’s the result:
While there scroll down a smidge for an Art SlideShow!
And if you wish, you may view more art in my Lulu Storefront where you may Support the Arts from the comfort of your keyboard:
