A Royal Wedding Day Astrology Report

by Jude Cowell

It’s Celebration Time! For on Friday April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, England, Prince William and Kate Middleton will wed one another to much acclaim and best wishes for their happiness.

The pomp begins at 11:00 am BST with their actual vow-taking time to follow so I am publishing the horoscope of the wedding which I usually don’t do for my Wedding Day Astrology Reports. But it isn’t every day a royal wedding takes place!

Royal Wedding April 29, 2011

(Click to enlarge the chart and view a few details: the Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Aries is a fortuitous constellation at Midheaven and may have been used to time the ceremony; most planets are posited in the royal 9th house; Prince Charles’ natal Sun is rising and the wedding Sun – William – conjoins asteroid Phaethon whose myth describes a son wanting to supplant his father, Helios, driver of the Sun chariot. But young Phaethon wasn’t up to the task which was much more difficult than expected!)

Sun Taurus-Moon Pisces is an Earth-Water blend full of practicality, fertility, and an innate wisdom to know what’s important in any given situation. It is a supportive and nourishing combination of energies yet it may view change as too challenging. Having a limited viewpoint is something of a caution as well in order to avoid stagnation.

Together Sun Tau-Moon Pis is quite the ‘nature mystic’, an indication which underscores Prince William’s own natal tendencies of occultism with Lilith and Neptune Rx rising and opposing his natal Sun 00Can21. He was, as you know, born upon a Solar Eclipse, quite a mystical chart factor of its own.

The Tau-Pis combo has quiet, self-contained strength, a musical and poetic soul, and is loyal when in a committed relationship. It is realism teamed with imagination and displays a kindly, responsive yet reserved air.

Making dreams come true is one of the talents of Sun Tau-Moon Pis and being solidly dependable toward others leads to lifetime friendships. This combo tends to fall in love easily and “starry-eyed” may apply to the lovers though there is a tendency to become “just friends” if romance isn’t nurtured on a regular basis.

Negative traits may include a deep stubbornness which often can be disguised as flexibility and a tendency toward sudden despondent moods which may sink into self-pity.

Still, this blend bodes well for the future happiness of the royal couple for it contains much resourcefulness, sympathy for others, and a sense of joy when at last one finds one’s true love!

Sun Tau-Moon Pis has three Images for Integration:

“Through the power of the imagination, a man is healed…A poet prepares his accounts in verse…The Mona Lisa.”

(Sun Sign-Moon Sign by Charles and Suzi Harvey.)

And of interest in a royal kind of way is the fact that the Sun Taurus-Moon Pisces blend is shared natally by none other than Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII.

~:~

As you’ve probably heard by now, the eyes of the Mona Lisa have recently been found to yield mystical symbols of their own! jc

    • What a great idea, thanks! My only problem is time w a new baby around, a newsletter to write, plus DNC this week but I’ll see what I can do–should be interesting unless Mitt’s wedding date is shrouded in secrecy…Jude

  2. Hi Ben, yes there are difficult planetary patterns on Apr 29, 2011 and each day w the Cardinal Pts now stimulated adversely indicating major world events (as we see now in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen – across the globe actually.)

Yet each day has good patterns, too, so if one waited for a perfect day astrologically it’s possible no one would ever marry or do anything of consequence!

Such a couple w powerful connections, however, may come out all right and i suspect it will be their own personalities and weaknesses which will determine how their partnership proceeds.

Even for a royal couple, it’s how one reacts to problems that makes all the difference and in a best case scenario, adversity can make a marriage stronger if both partners are determined for their union to succeed.

Thanks, Ben. Anyone else have an opinion? Jude

  3. Someone said that the 4/29 was NOT a good day for a wedding!! so who’s right? and how can we be sure?
There cannot be both positive and negative aspects for a wedding day, right? or not??

    Your thoughts, everyone????
