On this day marking the US withdrawal from pillaged Iraq, here is one of my paper collages which was created some years ago. As always with such visual combinations, it’s a Collage Mirage!
For some reason, every time I run across this particular collage I think of popcorn. Or kefir!
In case you’re interested, Stars Over Washington has been updated today with a brief Political Astrology post regarding the end of our misbegotten Iraq War. Check out Iraq War Ends w US Saturn Uppermost if you wish.
And pass the lowfat blueberry kefir while you’re at it…
Yes, “Blair lied, thousands died” yet pursuing former British PM Tony Blair for war crimes, along with cohorts George Bush, Dick Cheney, and other Western aggressors, is now shown to be more difficult than most people think it should be.
Since world governments are now helmed by those who reserve the ‘right’ to act against the innocent in similar ways as Blair and crew did – including ‘legal’, targeted assassinations – what chance do world populations have to find even a shred of justice from a complicit legal system and a World Court made up of members who are in on the ‘joke’ and act as just another arm of a global domination agenda?
As assassinated writer Danny Casolaro would have written in his book if his life had not been mysteriously snuffed out in *1991 and his ms notes stolen, “The Octopus” has infiltrated the whole shebang and has its tentacles around every institution in the world. It operates as a global crime syndicate intent on taking control of all governments in its frog march toward a ‘new world order’ of totalitarianism and complete financial manipulation.
So I guess this means that ‘leaders’ such as Blair are on safe ground no matter what they do or whom they injure, and one assumes such legal protection at the highest levels helps them sleep well at night.
It must. Because clear consciences could not possibly be what gives them their restful, blissful nighty-nights.
And they’re itching to do it all again. Someone please stop them.
*1991 points to President G. H. W. Bush and to the Solar Eclipse Series (11 South) in which Casolaro’s assassination occurred, and which repeated on July 22, 2009 @ crisis degree, 29 Cancer (opposite US natal and Sec Pluto); in 1991, 11S manifested @ ’19Can’ (near a critical degree axis, ’20Can/Cap’) which is the degree of Casolaro’s natal Mercury, planet of writers and communicators.
(Also, ’19Can’ is the degree of the current Solar Eclipse Series which manifested on July 11, 2010, but in the 12S Series: ‘things at first seem worse, then clear with successful outcomes.’ I had pinned my hopes for the capping of the BP-Gulf Oil Gusher on this eclipse’s influence, and sure enough, the first hints of success in the Gulf of Mexico’s seabed occurred just 4 days after July 11, 2010. My point is that eclipses and the pertinent events that occur during their seasons, and perhaps beyond, are linked by Series but also by degree.)
The influence of 11S has tended to greatly affect world finances and governmental institutions. Also in 1991, the world suffered under the effects of Uranus and Neptune transiting in materialistic, structured Capricorn and financial scandals were abundant; Poppy Bush invaded Kuwait and then hailed his alleged ‘victory’ as a “triumph of the New World Order.” Could the agenda be more clear?
Also in 1991, the transiting South Node, a separative, Saturnian point describing old, outdated, neurotic behavior (or talents!) conjoined US natal Sun (13Can, another critical degree) just as it’s done for President Obama in May-June, 2010 – and presidential mistakes are re-made.
The best and most honorable thing that could have been expected is that past mistakes would be reviewed and rejected; they were not. WikiLeaks has had to open Western war actions to fuller review causing the Pentagon to sputter ineffectually to ‘give back our files’ rather than correct its murderous course in the Middle East and wherever else the raptor’s eye may gaze.)
So here is the flavor of the 11S Series though I seriously doubt you’ve forgotten it in the least:
‘A need to make sudden reforms; old ideas and methods fail and new systems are required to deal with events brought by the eclipse; any blocks could be violently or tragically removed.’
(paraphrasing Brady’s Predictive Astrology for 11S.)
you tried to warn us
May you R.I.P.
Tax Day, April 15, is upon us with a vengeance and it’s not comforting to know that most of our funds go to fighting perpetual war bwo the Pentagon.
Especially with US schools, post offices, and court rooms closing for lack of funds! Either we-the-people are mad as hatters or the US government is trying to drive us in that direction while totally clearing out the US Treasury in the process.
As I groused repeatedly about the Bush-Cheney regime’s invasion of Iraq in 2003: with Jupiter the General retrograde at the time, the war would be a bottomless pit in the money department…was I wrong?
Well, this is a definite case of ‘sometimes you just don’t want to be right’.
And I stand by my opinion: Bush-Cheney didn’t go to war in Iraq or in Afghanistan in order to end terrorism – they invaded the Middle East on a misguided mission to promote it. And we see years later how the entire world is paying the price.
“That the aggressor, who puts himself into the state of war with another, and unjustly invades another man’s right, can, by such an unjust war, never come to have a right over the conquered, will be easily agreed by all men, who will not think that robbers and pirates have a right of empire over whomsoever they have force enough to master, or that men are bound by promises which unlawful force extorts from them. Should a robber break into my house, and, with a dagger at my throat, make me seal deeds to convey my estate to him, would this give him any title? Just such a title by his sword has an unjust conqueror who forces me into submission. The injury and the crime is equal, whether committed by the wearer of a crown or some petty villain. The title of the offender and the number of his followers make no difference in the offence, unless it be to aggravate it. The only difference is, great robbers punish little ones to keep them in their obedience; but the great ones are rewarded with laurels and triumphs, because they are too big for the weak hands of justice in this world, and have the power in their own possession which should punish offenders.”

“But why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it’s gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it’s, it’s not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?”
Barbara Bush on ABC’s Good Morning America, March 18, 2003
Mmmm…let me guess: because your husband and son helped fill so many of those body bags? Because you’re a human being and part of the human race? Because you are your brother’s keeper?
Or, because normal people tend to have consciences?
“Beautiful mind” or “pretty mind,” it’s difficult for me to see how such a cold attitude could ever be considered attractive by anyone!
And it couldn’t be true, of course (evidence notwithstanding) that Barbara Bush’s father is actually a certain scandalous personage…could it? A Mysterious Someone who would have passed down DNA that could make her haughtiness more…understandable, even as it stinks up the place?
This famous quote brought to you by Information Clearing House.
Actually I remember hearing in 2003 of North Korea’s conclusions after the invasion of Iraq:
After Iraq, It’s Not Just North Korea that Wants a Bomb
By Seumas Milne
In April 2003, North Korea drew the obvious conclusion from the US and British aggression against Iraq. The war showed, it commented at the time, “that to allow disarmament through inspections does not help avert a war, but rather sparks it”. Only “a tremendous military deterrent force”, it stated with unavoidable logic, could prevent attacks on states the world’s only superpower was determined to bring to heel.
Cheney’s Mission Accomplished
By Juan Cole
Cheney avoids mentioning all the human suffering he has caused, on a cosmic scale, and focuses on procedural matters like elections (which he confuses with democracy– given 2000 in this country, you can understand why).
Or he lies, as when he says that Iran’s influence in Iraq has been blocked.
